I love reading, hearing, learning about people/organizations that are trying to help others in the world. I believe we all have a responsibility to be there for others in any way that we are able. I've wrote before about a couple of different groups that are doing great things to reach out and change lives. Another one is called Acts to End Malaria.
Malaria is a HUGE problem.
It has caused more child deaths than AIDS and wars combined since 1950.
"Tonight 2,000 children will die from mosquito bites."
This is a statistic that is pretty devastating.
The good news?
It can be completely stopped by the year 2015. That is what this organization is striving for.
