Nashville

I just got back from a trip with some friends up to Nashville to deliver supplies, helping with the flood relief efforts there. As we were driving around we saw roads of "trash" piles. I say trash piles because that is what it now looked like to us. To others they were piles of memories. It was all they had.

It looked/felt like we were in a third world country. As we drove down the streets you could see inside the empty houses and apartments that were stripped out and destroyed.

It was devastating.

The short amount of time we were there really got me thinking, and thanking. Sometimes we don't know why certain things happen, but regardless our job is to help those who disaster strikes.

Below are some of the pictures I took while we drove down some side streets in a suburb. I can't imagine what these people are going through...
