His name: Mekonen....
8 years old.
Lives in an AIDS stricken community in Ethiopia.
Lives with his dad and siblings.

His community is one that has been destroyed by AIDS.... Does he have AIDS?
What happend to his mom and other family members?

I can ask these questions to get my mind going on what it could be like there. But honestly I have no idea. I can't begin to fathom what his life is like. Especially compared to what my life is like, living in blessed America.

I want to change Mekonen and his family's life.... But what about all the others? This is just one face/name to the startling statistics of millions of children around the world who experience EXTREME hunger and lack of clean drinking water....
