Love [] Gift [] Talent

Everyone has something they love to do and are good at. No limitations. It could be anything from just getting joy out of helping others to having the incredible ability to create a masterpiece on a blank canvas with just a few colors.

I love talking to my mother. She is an amazing women and I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today if not for her always being there and praying for me. That’s a story for another time though… During one of our talks we like to regularly have we got on the subject of things we love to do. I was telling her how I love music, and movies, and sports, you know, things like that. She listened and then said simply that she loved raising her 3 children, my 2 siblings and I… This was what she just absolutely loved. This love for her kids, unconditional love, was her gift, her talent. It just blew my mind sitting there thinking about it.

I have always heard, and thought I knew, that gifts and talents come in all different shapes and sizes. Everyone is gifted in some way. Have you really thought about that statement though and the depth of what a talent could be? I never did in the way my mother showed me until that day. Her talent, what God had gifted her with, was the ability to be an awesome mother to not only her children but everyone she came in contact with.

There are really NO limits on the gifts inside of us. Everyone has them, all you have to do is find out what it is that you love to do, pursue it with God in the center and there is no way it can fail.

What you love to do is the talents you have been gifted with.
